Azita Ghanizada

Azita is a native of Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. She is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. Her birthplace was in Kabul, Afghan. Her parents left for the US which they received asylum. She was raised to a young age in Northern Virginia and is the middle child with two older sisters. Ghanizada began her career in the field of TV by appearing in a couple of National Commercials. Ghanizada was nominated for top actress in the festival film in 2004's Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. In the film, she performed the role of Chiara. Her television credits include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. In recent times, she was in a variety of independent comedies You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009 and the science-fiction action film Blood Shot. In 2008 Ghanizada joined the cast of the General Hospital prime-time spin-off General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift saw Ghanizada play Doctor. Saira Bhatra, a doctor who specializes in holistic medicine. Ghanizada was seen as Kelly as the Prada girl on HBO's Entourage.
